Creditors Bureau Associates has taken the necessary steps to understand the environment that we work in. There are laws and rules that regulate how we run our business. These laws can get very complicated. That is why we train our collectors thoroughly in areas pertaining to the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). All of our collectors are trained about these laws before they are allowed to start collecting on our client's accounts. Over the course our collector's tenure with CBA there will be additional training in all of the laws and regulations mentioned above. We put a lot of emphasis on continuing education!
