Collection Services

We have been collecting on outstanding patient debt since 1990. Since our inception we have become very knowledgeable and efficient in the area of medical collections. We continuously work with insurance companies as well as attorneys to obtain payment in full where possible. In addition, we set up payment arrangements with "self pays" when necessary. The psychological effect of having a third party enter the debt collection process has a tremendous and, often, underestimated influence on the debtor. In some cases, the patient will pay immediately upon learning that their account has been placed with an agency. Because of this third party psychology, we are able to obtain a more firm and preferable payment arrangement than our clients are able to do.

In addition, our agency maintains a staff of employees who are thoroughly trained in all aspects of collections. Our special knowledge and experience enables us to handle the most difficult collection accounts, yet maintain the professionalism required of the collection industry. Our collectors have met both HIPAA and FDCPA training requirements and regulations that assures our clients of our reputation and ethics in the collection field. Our motto is, "Be aggressive, not abusive." We report our bad debt to all three major credit bureaus.

Creditors Bureau Associates is a valuable tool for hospitals, emergency service providers and medical practices trying to recover outstanding patient debt. The collections process is the last part of your billing process. It is the most neglected process as well. CBA will show you how important this process is. Then, we will work with you on collecting more of your outstanding patient debt internally and make it possible to recover more of the bad debt that you turn over to a third party agency.
